A1 Shock Stop specialises in the safety checking of electrical appliances to Australian Standard AS/NZS3760 and/or AS/NZS 3012. We service the whole of the Mid North Coast.

Our Services

Our qualified test and tag technicians come to your workplace or worksite to inspect your electrical appliances and tools.

Appliances are first bar-coded, then given a thorough visual inspection, prior to electrical testing with a Portable Appliance Tester. The results of the appliance inspection and testing are recorded electronically into our Asset Register Database.

Each appliance will then be tagged with a professional printed label that has a QR barcode that makes retesting at your next inspection a breeze. Appliances that are faulty will be labelled for you to have repaired or follow up with the manufacturer.

On completion of testing and tagging at your workplace, we provide you with a comprehensive Appliance Test Log (Asset Register), which is your written record of every appliance that we have inspected. This record is provided to you in a PDF format document, and as an Excel spreadsheet if you wish.

Office Space

If you run a business or manage an office space then you are responsible to ensure the safety of your electrical equipment through testing and tagging every 12 months. Work Sites

Electrical equipment must be inspected, tested and tagged every 3 months on Construction, Mining and Demolition sites. AS/NZS 3012: 2010 - Electrical installations - Construction and demolition sites, outlines regular inspection and testing requirements
